News - Ljubljana Shows Impressions & Show Handling

What a weekend in Slovenia...
Laughter, smiling faces, people speaking loudly and happily, optimism, good appetite and countless pro handlers - that's all I can say about Ljubljana shows. Any guesses why? Haha, the answer is more than simple: Italians all around us!

Ada dei Mangialupi - it was an honour to me me that I could handle her; she was cooperative and easy to handle

We have attended Ljubljana shows for year by now, but this trio was the best from among all our shows in Ljubljana! This time we entered two wolfhounds; Fingolfin of Irish Cream and Galadriel Moonvillage. They are both owned by Mr Zvonimir Bunic - Kennel Howlrunner's, and were both successful this weekend. Fingolfin was entered on two shows, on Sunday he did nothing but relax. However, the young Galadriel "worked" on all three shows, and on Sunday she wasn't simply the Bets Puppy in the Breed, she was even Puppy Best in Show (over 40 puppies in the Ring of Honour)!! The young princess showed us again what talent she has for shows.

On this show we met lots of our old friends from all over Europe. It was just one year ago when Team Irish Cream first met Tzvetelina Stancheva and Alessandro Callegaris from Italy. They brought two Mangialupi wolfhounds, Ada and Kippo. It was nice to meet the Mangialupis again after such a long time! :)

It was a pleasure to handle this calm and gentle lady, especially on Sunday in the Ring of Honour. She really is a lovely show dog. Congratulations to her owner Francesco and her breeder Marcello Poli!

Absolute Mann Shines in the Wien Sky: Best of Breed

This amazing female whippet was professionally handled by Fabrizio Manni in the Ring of Honour and was placed both days in the Best of Group competition. Congratulations Fab!!!
